Just out your front door, you will find a fantastic boulangerie (the almond croissants are the best), rotisserie chicken, cafes, the restaurants at Fontaine de Mars. Within a five-minute walk you will find buses to the Luxembourg Gardens and the Champs Elysees. The Ecole Militaire metro stop is two blocks away. Cobblestoned rue Cler, the famed market street heralded in Rick Steve's guidebooks) is also just a five-minute walk. Grab a baguette, some cheese, and a bottle of wine and picnic in the Champs Elysees. The seventh arrondisement is home to the Musee D'Orsay, Rodin Museum, Invalides, Eiffel Tower.
